What do you think is the best method to produce your animation and why? What is informing your decision - time, process, materials, concept?

I've always loved to draw kinetic images in animation, to draw every frame so I can decide how the character is moving completely. Also it's an easy way to exactly visualise my story how I want to. Also my idea is an animation podcast so I want to make the whole thing personal, my own drawings and characters. I would use a drawing animation software on an iPad because it's easier to draw the images because it shows you frames of your previous images and makes the whole production a lot smoother.

Which of the character traits do you think you animated the most successfully and why?

The topic of my guilty pleasure animation was smoking so I drew a lot of objects that the character would use so that you can see their actions clearly, for example a lighter. Also the characters traits because it is an animated podcast you can hear what the person is saying and really associate with the images in the animation that is what shows the character traits. I successfully drew out all the objects that someone would use when smoking and then drew somebody smoking, then showing how it makes them feel (hungry) by the character eating a pizza.

How did you feel about sharing your guilty pleasure? Were you honest?

I loved how I could be so raw in this project and really say what I'm feeling and I liked how personal the project was. It also motivated me to be more involved in animation and potentiality of using animation in part 3. I think it was easy to be honest since the background of the animation was a podcast and the conversation felt very natural and I wanted to share that.
